Spoke too soon... Fallout 3 downloadable pack "Operation: Anchorage" is already out, with 2 more coming.

Holy crap, this is awesome. The first Fallout 3 episode was actually released at the end of January. I guess Posterous is taking up so much of my time that I've been living under a rock basically. =)

In March, they're planning to release the 2nd downloadable episode, called The Pitt, and finally a 3rd one to be released in April will be called Broken Steel

So, does this make video games more like TV shows than feature films?

Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned is being released Feb 17. Downloadable content! Fallout3 next?

Johnny is a veteran member of The Lost, a notorious biker gang. Johnny has been creating business opportunities for The Lost in Liberty City, but his first loyalty must be to the patch he wears on his back and to Billy Grey, the club's President. However, when Billy returns from rehab hell-bent on bloodshed and debauchery, Johnny finds himself in the middle of a vicious turf war with rival gangs for control of a city torn apart by violence and corruption. Can the brotherhood survive?

OMG are you for real? Downloadable content packs for Grand Theft Auto 4 are coming in 3 days for xbox 360? Excellent.

This is one of the most exciting developments in the gaming world -- it makes so much sense. It is almost wasteful for incredible 3D worlds like GTA4 or Fallout 3 to have one-time use in one story arc alone. They're really totally general purpose gameplay environments, and now the fun doesn't have to end after that first 36 to 48 hour nonstop barrage of action and adventure.
